TIP OF THE MONTH: Choose Your Progressive Slots Wisely

Oftentimes, you hear gamblers say they will only play a progressive slot machine when the jackpot reaches a certain point. While I can understand the reasoning behind this thinking, what I don't understand is how many gamblers do not pay attention to and compare the maximum bet amounts between different progressive slots. In my opinion, this is more important to playing a slot solely based on the size of the progressive jackpot. Here's what you do if you want to play a progressive slot: First, find out what it will cost you to make the maximum bet at each machine. Remember, if you don't make the maximum, you can't win the progressive jackpot. Next, determine which machines are accommodating to your bankroll, meaning rule out the one's that are too expensive. Of those that are left, single out those with the same maximum bet amount. Pick the one that has the higher progressive jackpot and you will be making the most of your bet.
