Prince of Poker Appologizes
Everyone knows that when put in to intense, high pressure, high stakes
situations the best of people is not often what you get. The world of online
casinos and gambling in general has been known to get pretty ugly. After hours
and hours of playing poker the so-called “Prince of Poker” Scotty Nguyen made a
fool of himself at a competition then had to publicly apologize.
Online casinos often have a lot of negative press surrounding them but
apparently so do some diva poker players. The World Series of Poker and the
online casino realms go hand in hand when it comes to tantrums… it’s just that
the online players are at their homes when they do have a fit. So Scotty Nguyen
got worked up after a tough fourteen hour final table at the World Series of
Poker finals during the $50,000 HORSE game. He apparently had a few choice words
that I cannot repeat that came out of his mouth. All directed towards his fellow
opponents, Michael DeMichele and Erik Lindgren.
Nguyen later sent out a lengthy apology for his actions stating that he is only
human and everyone has had "good, bad, sad and angry times". True, however not
all of us go on television and play a poker tournament to throw a fit of temper.
This poker tournament did last over five days with very long hours at the table.
I have an idea, why doesn’t the “Prince” take himself over to a computer and
play poker at a microgaming online casino until he can learn to play in a civil
manner.
