When Playtech is on a roll, they are
on a roll. Following their release
of a new mobile version of the popular online slot, Gold Rally, the online
casino and poker software developer has released two more games. More video
slots in case you were wondering. Now, I know there are plenty of video slot
fans out there, but I wouldn't be honest if I said I didn't secretly hope they
were coming out with some new video poker machines for me to gamble at.
I
guess more slots is Okay. I remember when Vegas Technology came out with their
last batch of new games (all slots) and I ended up liking one of them very much.
If you haven't read any of my online casino journals on English Harbour, Super
Slots and Millionaire Casino, you would know this slot to be none other than "X
Marks the Spot". I think it might have something to do with my infatuation with
Keira Knightley, although the "character in her likeness" on the reels doesn't
really look like her at all. So then, maybe I like it cause it's a loose
machine. Seriously, I had some great winning streaks playing this slot.
Anyways, Playtech's two new games are called "Bonus Bears" and "What's
Cooking". "Bonus Bears" is a twenty-five payline video slot with two bonus
rounds, including a free spins round that triples winnings and a regular bonus
round that randomly awards cash prizes. I haven't played it yet, but I hear that
you get to pick a tree for which the "bear" will climb. If you pick the right
tree, you could walk away with some serious cash. Oh, and did I mention that
Bonus Bears is themed after an Alpine picnic. I don't know where on Earth
Playtech comes up with some of these themes, but I have to hand it to them for
being unique.
The "What's Cooking" online video slot offers a whopping thirty paylines as
well as a Dollar sidegame and free spin/win multiplier bonus round. This sounds
like another creative doozie in the online casino gambling world, for in the
bonus round players get to make their own sandwich - the end product of which
will determine the bonus winnings. Yes, that's right. If you weren't hungry when
you started gambling, you will be by the time you make it to the "What's
Cooking" bonus round. As you would expect from all Playtech online casino games
(at least I would expect), these games feature some cool graphics and UI
improvements, including introductory animation clips to the games, as well as
spinning reel-action enhancements.
