If I didn't say anything then I'd be helping perpetrate the very thing I stand
against and the last thing the online gambling industry needs. So please listen
up as I unveil the latest online casino warning. Yep, that's right. It appears
another gaming operator may be going under or is simply trying to become another
Crystal Palace Casino. Oops, did I say that out loud. Disclaimer: This isn't
about Crystal Palace - I'll save them for another time.
The online casino
group I am referring to is none other than Futurebet, which is actually a
software developer. Now, that's big news if you ask me. Software means more than
one casino. So, why had any of us not heard about Futurebet before? (Well, maybe
you have, but most of us haven't...so there!) Seriously, the same reason why
Futurebet was never considered a top-tier online casino software developer
ranking with the likes of Microgaming and Playtech is for the same reason they
are now going under.
Don't get me wrong, I support small business and the little guy (especially
the more I realize just how small I am myself). However, small business does not
have to equate into cheating customers. In fact, it should be the other way
around. Now, I really don't know much about how large Futurebet is or how long
they have been operating online casinos (They claim since 1998 on their
website). What I do know is that Futurebet has been the brunt of many player
complaints for a long time running.
Several online casinos and betting sites have recently announced they will be
closing down, which is good reason to believe that Futurebet is in a financial
crisis. In fact, one of these sites - Linesmaker.co.uk - closed early in the
month and posted a message on their website stating something along the lines
that Futurebet is "claiming insolvency" and can no longer process bets. Other
betting sites to do the same include BetandWinNet, FunPlexCasino and BigNutzz.
Look, even though Futurebet is a Technical Systems Testing certified software
platform (meaning their RNG has been deemed to deliver unpredictable and fair
Vegas odds), does not mean you are safe playing at any of their licensees. Right
now, the future of Futurebet looks glim, and you should not take any risk
playing at Futurebet powered sites. That's my opinion, but I think you should
listen to it. There are far too many other online casinos out there who you can
trust and expect fair, decent gaming.
