Online Security Suggestions: 1

As the world does more business on the internet users need a better way to make sure that their information is safely guarded. One suggestion that has recently been suggested is that people who use the internet to share personal information whether it be at a social networking site or at an online casino that people should be using personal Information Cards. All of the online transactions that happen world wide each day have demanded for a more safe solution to be determined. There has been extensive research done on the fears that consumers have when it comes to sharing their financial information on the internet. In fact one study said that a fear of getting a person’s identity stolen is enough of a reason to avoid using the internet for any form of e-commerce.

This security insecurity is causing a slight loss of business for all types of online businesses including online casinos. There was a study done in 2006 that determined that 12 percent of citizens from the European Union that range from 16 to 74 years of age actually avoided all online business transactions at all costs, including any online casino. The data was released by the European Commission’s data gathering office, Eurostat. The goal for this project would be to make all of the valuable information less available to the online criminal. There already methods of securing websites but at times that is not enough for people. This is what the newest proposal of information cards will promise to give to the average online consumer whether that be on an online casino or any other website.
