Playtech Revenue Soars: 2
The opening of the Italian online casino market had a positive impact on their
business where they gained some new licensees such as Snai S.r.l, Eurobet
Italia, Sisal SpA, and Cogetech SpA. The Chairman of Playtech, Roger Withers,
was the one who made the official announcement for the online casino software
provider and said proudly that their company had seen significant growth in all
of their divisions, which is very rare in any company, not just in the online
casino industry.
Shareholders were very excited to see the records revenues and profits for the
online casino software provider. The management of Playtech did make a promise
to all of its shareholders and so far they are keeping their promise to make
Playtech one of the world’s foremost providers of software for online casinos.
The reason why they are able to stay ahead of the game may be their commitment
to studying and researching internet gambling and trends that occur in the
industry. Playtech is constantly investing money in research and development of
brand new products in order to keep all of their contracted online casinos nice
and happy.
With that said, 2008 was a great year for the online casino software provider,
Playtech. One of the most promising deals that they have already worked on in
the first few months of 2009 was getting the exclusive rights to Marvel comic
book themed games. The rights to the very popular comic book brand, previously
owned by CryptoLogic, are definitely something that will provide them a
consistent customer base. Playtech also owes a portion of their success to the
Spanish market. They were able to invade Spain via Casino Grand Madrid. So what
Playtech hopes is that they will be able to maintain this success and have an
even better 2009 for their online casinos.
