The Simpson’s Irish Special: 2
The websites that lead the St. Patrick’s Day Simpson’s wagers were no strangers
to the wagering on the very famous TV show. The show is actually a very popular
wagering topic in online casinos all over the United Kingdom and the European
Union. In fact there was a huge bet that many people are still talking about
when Maggie, the baby on the show, shot Mr. Burns. This show is no stranger to
celebrating this holiday either, some of the executive producers James L. Brooks
and Al Jean joined the cast member that does the voice of Bart Simpson, Nancy
Cartwright in a parade honoring St. Patrick’s Day in Dublin. They all rode on a
huge Simpson themed float and tourists from all over were more than happy to see
the beloved cartoon characters honored at their very special parade.
Online casino fans knew that there were many wagers to be made on future shows,
however. One episode in particular, “In the Name of the Grandfather” was based
on Grandpa’s need to go back to Ireland. The whole episode focused on Grandpa
wanting to be in Ireland and have a beer in the Tom O’Flanagan’s Pub. During the
episode his son, Homer, tries to make his father’s wish come true. The executive
producer of the show, Al Jean, told the BBC that in the episode a lot of things
happen that fans of online casinos may want to wager on especially since they
will be making a trip to Ireland in a half an hour and be back in Springfield by
the end of the thirty minute episode. He said, "Homer and Grampa get drunk. They
buy the bar and then they find, as it turns out, in Ireland, pubs aren't so
popular anymore because you can't smoke in them. So they're really up a creek."
So tune it to see what happens!
