Security is a Must Have: 1

It is not a new thought that online casinos must have great security features before players will trust their website. In a recent survey conducted by VeriSign the results showed that a whopping 85 percent of online casino players look at the security features of the website before deciding to share personal or confidential information. Poker rooms, bingo websites, and online casinos are no exception to this rule. Websites that do not follow the highest and security standards and that share information made their consumers feel in different, betrayed (13%), disappointed (17%), and distrustful (56%). According to the same survey one in five people you've been engaged in you were online activities to select a trust in sharing their information on a website.

The online casino industry has not been without its scandals and trust issues from the general public. So consumers have definitely shown that they are weary when it comes to sharing their private information online. In fact, 62 percent of consumers that were surveyed look for the lock icon that appears on the address bar when they go to a website that is supposed to be secure. Fifty five percent of their customers look for a logo or a seal from security company that they know and trust. The best way for customers to ensure that they are still completely secure in the world of online casinos and Internet poker is to be educated and know what to look for before they get other personal information. Before any information is given out, make sure that the website is indeed a secure one.
