Mangas Seals the Deal
Two new deals have been signed and finalized regarding some large investments in
the online casino and sports betting sectors of the French gambling group Mangas
Gaming SAS. It was recently announced that the agreement entered by the company
was for the company to have control of the bet-at-home.com AG, as announced by
Betclic. It was also announced there are be a large launch which will offer the
public the ability to acquire shares in the previously held by a minority
shareholders of the company. Like many online casinos, the company is licensed
out of Malta. Bet-at-home has one of the largest player bases of any online
casino of over a million people. The young company was founded in 1999 in Wels,
Austria.
From the beginning, the online casino strived to be one of the largest Internet
gambling operations in all of its jurisdictions. Some of the regions that they
have received a large growth in business are Austria, Eastern Europe, and
Germany. Upon completion of acquiring the assets of Bet-at-home, Mangas reported
in to their intent with the company will be fulfilled when certain conditions
and regulatory approvals are met. This isn't the first online casino that they
have gained control of, the online poker website Expekt was one of their
recently acquired online casinos. The Scandinavian sports betting and online
poker website help the companies operations in the northern European markets.
The chief executive officer of Mangas Gaming, Isabelle Parize said, "After the
acquisition of Betclic in 2008 and the recent announcement of the acquisition of
Expekt, one of the leading online betting and gaming company in Scandinavia this
transaction perfectly complements the Mangas Gaming strategy of creating a
strong European-wide network of online sports betting and gaming operations."
