Online casinos and other Internet gambling websites are often looking for a way to provide their customers the versatility. Lottomatica have been trying to create a partnership with Dogan Sirketler Grubu Holding A.S., which is a Turkish company. They are looking to lend their expertise to the Turkish company and signed a 50-50 contract to provide services for the Turkish national lottery. They have already submitted the application to be considered for running the national lottery of Turkey. If they are indeed accepted for the huge job of running the country's national lottery, they will be granted a 10 year license to operate. Also included in a 10 year license is the ability to arrange drawings of games and organize and plan events in Turkey. The online casino industry would be hard-pressed to not think this is good news.

When a country allows a national lottery to be run by an Internet gambling website, it usually leads to the legalization of the online casino industry. The shareholders of the companies involved will get 17% of the total revenue that these companies make upon acquiring their operating license in Turkey. The Turkish government, in particular the Turkish privatization administration announced in mid February that there were five bidders in the fight for the Turkish national lottery's business. The companies that are currently in the prequalification stage are Osterreichische Lotterien Gesellschaft M.b.h., Lottomatica SpA, Intralot SA, OPAP SA, and Milli Pivango. Soon the Turkish government will decide which one of these companies will be awarded the license to operate their national lottery.
