The online casino industry has been hoping for change in the United States legislature towards internet gambling for a long time and it appears that change might be near. Online casinos can start to get excited about the prospect of change according to recent news. The possibility of online casinos being able to legally and openly being able to re enter the gambling market in the United States may be coming very soon. The latest wave of excitement is coming straight from the most recent support for the US lawmakers who are supporting the bill brought to Congress by Representative Barney Frank. That bill is very important to the online casino industry because it would finally legalize internet gambling in the United States.

The bill that has been written and pushed by Frank has been refused by the United States government many times, but things are very different this time. He wanted the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act overturned last year and he did not have a lot of luck or support accomplishing that. This time around things are very different for Frank as he seems to be winning a lot of people over who were once opposed to the legalizing of the online casino industry in the United States. The biggest noticeable difference from this year to last year is the head of the administration. There is a new president in charge and there is no longer the heavy Republican Congress who were responsible for passing the highly debated law into place to begin with.
