Russians Change Gambling Laws: 2

The casino owners in Russia have not received the news of the law changes favorably. The owners of these land based casinos that have successfully been operating their businesses for years in the main cities of Russia do not want to move their businesses just because of a few complaints from one demographic of citizens. The law requires these online casino and land based casinos to invest their own money to move their casinos into the designated and approved areas of the country. The problem that these casinos are having is that they do not feel that the revenue that will be made in these hard to get to spots will justify the costs of moving their business from a spot that has already proven to be profitable for their casinos. The online casinos that have been operating in Russia will have different guidelines to follow.

The online casino industry may be the only way that Russians will be able to enjoy gambling. So far online casinos have made it difficult for land based casinos to survive just by existing. Now that the Russian government is making the land based casinos moved to designated areas of the country the fear is that the land based casino industry will sink and cease to exist in Russia. The online casinos who operate in the country really do not have the same issues as the land based casinos as the only way that people go to their internet gambling sites are by opening up their computers in their homes. The fear of many is that these laws will make the casino industry go underground and therefore make illegal gambling operations thrive.
