Comforting Words from Frank: 2

Representative Barney Frank is often asked to speak at online casino events since he is seen as the poster boy of the legalization efforts in the United States. The last time that he was asked to speak was recently at the World Series of Poker event last weekend. In that speech, Frank informed the poker players in attendance of the latest steps that have been taken in the efforts of legalizing online casinos. The Representative told the attendees that he has recently offered the lawmakers of the United States two Bills that outline plans to legalize and regulate internet gambling and online casinos in the United States. The first Bill that Mr. Frank introduced to the lawmakers would put the rules from the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act to an end.

The next set of rules from the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act would go into effect in December. This particular Bill would stop those laws from going into place and causing more damage. Frank has also proposed this particular Bill in order to ensure that the United States has proper research done so then they have the best information in order to then form the rules for the online casino industry once it is legalized. The research is also necessary to study the effects that these rules have caused in the past and to hopefully get the good parts of it for the online casinos in the United States. The last thing that the United States needs to do is create rules and regulations for the online casino industry that do not make players or operators proud to be a part of the online casino industry.
