NetPlay TV Acquires Another Site
As if NetPlay TV does not have enough on their plate, the entertainment and
online casino company also acquired another mobile quiz business, ‘Grab a
Grand’. The online casino group acquired their new mobile quiz site from
Info-download Limited. The mobile quiz service is not like the standard online
casinos, it is a mmobile service in which subscribers play quiz games in order
for them to have a chance of winning cash prizes and even be put into a drawing
for a GBP 1 million prize. The mobile website already has 11,000 subscribers so
with the resources of NetPlay TV and Zed Worldwide, the future looks bright for
the already popular mobile internet gambling quiz game.
This is one of three businesses recently acquired by NetPlay TV recently and
they include: Toucanwins.com and Venturygames.com. The three businesses have
already proven to be profitable for the online casino and mobile game company.
NetPlay TV is now generating about GBP 500,000 of monthly revenue. The revenue
has increased so dramatically over the last six months, that the numbers report
an growth of 200 percent. With the strategic addition of Zed Worldwide to their
line up for the next two years they will have an exclusive partnership. NetPlay
TV will now be able to compete with other online casinos because it will have
access to a new Bingo section, not to mention all of their new mobile solutions.
The Chief Executive Officer of NetPlay TV plc, Martin Higginson said of his new
online casino partnership: "We are extremely pleased to be working closer with
the team at Zed Worldwide. The mobile platform is an important part of our
converged plan, and as such adding their mobile gambling business to ours
strengthens this position further. Having access to the Zed mobile developers
will enable us to develop integrated mobile applications much quicker and
therefore give the consumer greater choice of which device he or she accesses
our gaming services from.” Zed Worldwide now owns 13,250,000 shares of NetPlay
TV. He also said that his online casinos will prosper and: "This is another
milestone in the growth of our business, this acquisition increases Zed's stake
in our business and such reaffirms their belief in our goal to continue building
a truly converged global interactive entertainment business."
The future of this online casino and entertainment company falls on the hands of
the CEO of Zed Worldwide, Javier Dolset Perez, as well. Perez released a
statement on the new partnership of Zed Worldwide and NetPlay TV. He said: "Some
months ago we took a strategic stake in NetPlay TV as we believe in their
vision. Selling these assets to NetPlay TV allows Zed to take what we have built
and integrate it with NetPlay TV's strong portfolio of games. This strategic
partnership enables both companies to increase growth and offer gaming solutions
to our customers worldwide. Combined with access to our vast network of
customers and MNO relationships, this will assist NetPlay TV's goal to build a
global entertainment business."
