Sky Bet Goes Mobile
The United Kingdom has a gigantic television and betting service called Sky Bet.
They are currently in the works of releasing a new mobile version of their
services. They will be partnered with the Mkodo platform. The online casino
giant’s website will be officially launched at the end of January. The mobile
version of the website will provide users with all of the same benefits of the
online casinos they access on their computer but with the convenience of being
able to access it anywhere. The mobile website will also be a great way for
players to take advantage of the other features that Sky Bet has to offer, which
are telephone betting services and interactive television.
The new mobile version of the online casino will be partnered with the mobile
platform Mkodo which has had previous relationships with heavy hitters in the
entertainment world such as Rank Interactive’s Blue Square, BBC and Turner
Broadcasting. This will be a great partnership for the website as it seems that
all online casinos are having to extend their websites out to the mobile market
in order to compete in a global level. The platform they recently partnered with
Orbis Technology, which only makes the deal sweeter for the players at Sky Bet.
Now players will have the confidence that their favorite online casino is
partnered with several websites and has the resources to keep the latest games
and technologies in their grasp.
The online casino’s senior product manager, Pritpal Bains said of the new
partnership: “The mobile channel is an important part of strategy; hence the
strategic decision to upgrade our offering in this area. We selected mkodo
because we wanted to work with the pre-eminent supplier in this market. The
Mkodo team has significant experience in the provision of mobile content and
commerce sites. This has been evident with the smooth running of the project and
with their professionalism to date.” The United Kingdom seems like it will
continue to push their online casinos in the forefront of the industry.
