GMG Posts Record Numbers
Things are looking great for the London based Gaming Media Group due to its
incredibly high end of year numbers for 2008. The company showed a significant
growth margin of 47 percent on their online poker division. They also had an
even bigger number in their online casino, online bingo and television
advertising divisions where they had a 57 percent increase in total revenue. The
total profit of Gaming Media Group has grown to GBP 1 million, which is four
times what it was at the end of 2007. Online casinos do not often have that sort
of success unless they ate doing something right. And one of the things that the
website was doing right was recruiting. They had about 10,000 new registered
players every month in its poker based online casino, PokerHeaven.com.
The online casino management company recently released a new addition to their
already impressive line up of online casinos. Their newest internet gambling
website is called Casino Joy. Which opens in mid January 2009. The brand new
online casino will include an impressive 200 plus games which will be provided
by the internet gaming software experts at Cryptologic. The new online casino
will be affiliated with the Heaven Affiliates network and brand. The official
launch date for the website will be the 29th of January. Another online casino
that will be receiving new features will be the ever popular, PokerHeaven.com.
The online casino will have a new feature called ‘The Player Tracker’. This will
be the third addition to the game that is a management tool approved by the
International Poker Network.
The online casinos that are managed by the group will surely keep performing as
well as they did in 2008, with the direction they have been heading. The Chief
Executive Officer of Gaming Media Group, Crispin Nieboer said: “Our pan-European
and localised approach, together with significant advances in our CRM
infrastructure, has been key to the extensive growth in 2008. We forecast strong
organic growth in 2009, not just from poker, but from our new casino and bingo
products as well. We are also investigating more acquisition and joint-venture
opportunities, where we can utilise our infrastructure to absorb similar
businesses, and apply our lower CPA, higher conversion and player lifetime
values.”
