Will Hill Sponsors TV Show Again
William Hill is a power house in the world of online casinos and they are
continuing that tradition by sponsoring ITV’s daytime show “The Real Deal”. The
show will be sponsored by the Will Hill Bingo division in 2009. As you may
recall, this is not the first time that Will Hill has sponsored a television
program. Last fall the online casino giant sponsored a game show for the Spin
Star network for the month of November 2008. The sponsorship deal will last four
months and began on the 5th of January and will last until the middle of April.
The goal of this new sponsorship deal is to raise awareness of the online
casino’s bingo brand and to hopefully attract new customers to the site.
The target audience for the online casino sponsored program will be the at home
bingo players and those who watch multiple daytime TV shows that are similar to
“The Real Deal”. As we previously reported the online casino giant merged with
the internet gambling software provider Playtech plc. So the audience watching
will have extra insurance knowing that the bingo site that they are playing on
is one of the worlds finest. The show is hosted by TV presenter and antique
dealer David Dickinson. The Real Deal airs in the United Kingdom, Monday through
Friday from 2pm to 3pm on ITV1.
The online casino giant released a statement on their website regarding the new
high profile sponsorship deal with the popular daytime television show. The
spokesperson for the show, Lili Huang, said, "William Hill Bingo Thrill' is the
topic for the programme bumpers shown during breaks in each show, whilst the
Real Deal asks participants to get their thrill by taking a gamble on whether
they accept the antique dealer's cash offer, or take a risk at auction. For an
initial foray into actual programme sponsorship, we were very pleased with the
response from the Spin Star association. We're delighted to have this
opportunity of sponsoring the Real Deal, because the programme has the potential
for a far bigger audience with its current scheduling."
