New Online Casino Bill: 2

The new online casino bill that will soon be brought to Congress will make online casinos a topic that can not be ignored in Washington DC. The bills that were presented by Rep. Barney Frank were up for discussion in the political playground that runs the United States before their break on the 4th of July. Due to a lot of more pressing issues such as the economy, the online casino debate has to be pushed back until September. Online casino players have been waiting long enough, so what is one more month? The latest bill to be introduced by New Jersey’s Senator Menendez has been created to help speed up the approval process of online casinos and their regulation. If the House takes too long with the Frank complement to his bill then this bill will be able to speed up the progress.

One of the goals would be for all of the online casino bills to reach the chamber floors before the winter break in Washington. The biggest issue that would be discussed would be the differences in the two proposals and which one would be the best for US online casinos and the people who will be playing in them. There are plenty of Anti-gambling groups that are already taking their stance and making their presence known. So far it looks like these bills will have no trouble passing, or at least be able to over turn the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. That act has been nothing but trouble for the United States since it was passed in the must pass port bill.
