New Online Casino Bill: 1

There is a new bill in the works in the United States that may actually go hand in hand with the online casino bill brought forth by Representative Barney Frank’s. The bill that Barney Frank has been pushing will help legalize and regulate online casinos in the United States. The latest bill will be brought to the Senate by Senator Robert Menendez who is from New Jersey. His bill has not been formally announced and has not been tied down to any type of time frame that would make it as important as the bill Rep. Frank is pushing to get through the legal system before the end of the year. The executive director of the Poker Players Alliance, John Pappas, is excited about another online casino legislation hope and he knows that there is no time frame on this subject for the New Jersey Senator.

Frank is known around the online casino industry as sort of a helping hand. He has already written two bills that have attempted to legalize online casinos and internet gambling in the United States but has been unsuccessful. This time he intends to remove the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act which has been negatively affecting the online casino players of the United States since it was passed in 2006. His bill proposes a plan on how to regulate and license online casinos and poker rooms in a way that it will work for the United States. The bills that have been presented by Barney Frank have garnered a lot of support from the Poker Players Alliance.
