Intralot to Enter French Market: 2

The current estimates say that France is set to gain a significant amount of tax revenues from the legalization of online casinos. The number is estimated to be at $6.3 million US dollars. In the current global economy any type of extra tax revenue is useful. There have been a number of countries that had previously banned activities like horse racing, lotteries, and online casino gambling which immediately benefited by regulating and legalizing the process of gambling for their country. The French Budget Minister Eric Woerth created a draft plan which he presented to the French ministers. His plan included a pretty fair taxation of 7.5 percent for the newly legalized and soon to be regulated online casinos, horse racing bets, and sports betting.

The very popular company of Intralot is currently operating its business in over 50 different countries. In all of those countries this company is in charge of employing over 4,500 people which gives this company a huge edge in getting approved for the licenses in France. This is not even mentioning the fact that they are already a part of a lot of online casino related organizations. Those include the North American Association of State& Provincial Lotteries, European Lotteries, the World Lottery Association and there are also a number of associations that they are a part of in Asia and South America, to name a few. Another reason why this company is well known is because of their tremendous efforts that they have placed towards remaining ethical even in a world of sometimes questionable online casinos.
