The new Chief Executive Officer that was hired on by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta has a list full of online casino related credentials. His credentials are not limited to those of the Europan online casino markets. He has worked in the Government of Bermuda and helped them develop a Government Strategic Planning Project for themselves in 2004. All of his credentials abroad for laws concerning online casinos always seem to bring him back home to Malta. He has been a representative for the International Council for Information Technology in Public Administration in Malta in 2006. He is also a published author that co authored the Government’s Industry Strategy for Malta for the upcoming years until the year 2010.

Mr. Portanier has also been a member of the National Information Society Advisory Council and also served as a chairman for the Maltese Government’s CIO Council. So it is pretty safe to say that as far as the experience sector is concerned, Portanier definitely has that down. The company is definitely excited to finally have a new leader that is in place that way they can continue on the course they were on before their former Chief Executive Officer stepped down from office in October of 2008. The point of having an official leader is so then the company can streamline all of their tasks with one common leader. The person that they have chosen as their leader shows great experience with online casino and internet gambling policies.
