Microgaming Enforces Rules: 2

Microgaming is aiding in this effort by sending e-mails to those third party affiliates who may have not been so strict on who could register on their sites. The email stated that any of the sites that even try to seduce players from restricted states will be dropped by Microgaming's servers. Apparently players are going to be affected as well, but in a fairly positive way. If there are any players that are banned from online casinos but have a balance on an account, they will be able to receive all of their money in full. This goes not just the customers at an online casino, but poker rooms as well.
Microgaming is also making a statement by saying that these are not new policies, they are simply announcing that they are taking a new approach to enforcing the rules. These were rules that were implemented when the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act passed. So what does this all mean for the online casino fans that live in a restricted state? Players will be able to access the Microgaming site and download the “practice” versions of their favorite games. Best of all, those games are all free. Techies beware: Microgaming uses an IP blocking devices which is essentially a way of looking behind the mask of a proxy. If a user is using a proxy to hide their IP address then their proxy detector will be able to point you out and not allow access to the online casino's non-practice games.
