Microgaming Enforces Rules: 1

The United States is always fighting hard to keep online gambling and online casinos out of the hands of its citizens. Microgaming is doing everything that it can to make their restrictions harder and harder so that people in the United Stated cannot play in their online casinos. The software developer is following the decision made by the US in the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. The issue at hand is that American players are still getting onto some online casinos and are able to because of third-party affiliates have not put forth the effort needed to restrict the people who are able to create accounts. This has been pretty loosely enforced.
In a previous article, we mentioned how the State of Kentucky was taking it upon itself to crack down on illegal online casino activity. The Kentucky government was able to seize multiple domains and is pioneering sate enforcement of illegal online casinos in the United States. The State of Kentucky single handedly seized over 180 domain internet gambling domains including the very well known, Golden Casino. Several pro online casino and internet gambling organizations are against the State of Kentucky's actions. The organizations include the Bluegrass Institute, Interactive Media, and Poker Players Alliance. The judge that is presiding over this case is Judge Wingate who issued a temporary seizure of the domains at first, providing that the defendants cooperated. Do you know where your state stands? There is actually a list of states where players can suffer from enforcement, that list can be found by searching for U.S. Microgaming Restrictions.
