Tabcorp Searches for New Leader

Tabcorp Holdings Ltd recently announced that they are trying to replace their Chief Executive Officer. The company’s current CEO, Walter Bugno, has announced his intention of pursuing an unspecified opportunity in London. They have since announced that they are on the search for qualified applicants that have plenty of online casino experience. The position will be opening up in early 2009 as their current leader will be making the long trip from Australia all the way to the United Kingdom. Their current CEO, Bugno, lead the folks over at Tabcorp for a little over three years. Conrad Treasury in Brisbane, Star City, Conrad Jupiters on the Gold Coast and Jupiters Townsville all fell under his area of responsibility.

There are only a handful of people with such experience in online casinos that may fit the qualifications that the people at Tabcorp need and want for their next leader. This person needs to be well seasoned in online casino knowledge. After all, the Tabcorp properties are responsible for attracting over 18 million people a year. The heads at Tabcorp want to assure their customers that the transition will be a very smooth one. It was announced that Bugno is going to continue to head up their Casino Division for another couple of months to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible. Tapcorp is actually doing very well, Bugno was actually a very big part in one of their major licensing agreements that they most recently acquired with New South Wales Government.

Online casino business is booming allover the world, so it is no wonder that Tabcorp is doing so well. Tabcorp will be fine with out Bugno but is sad to see him go.
