Online Poker Business is Booming
Online casino markets have miraculously not suffered too much even in the
flailing world economy. Online poker may have a little hand in that. The World
Championship of Online Poker drew in a staggering 13 percent more players than
usually, some say because of the $30 million jackpot. The online casino has an
average 16,200 players that try their hand at their virtual poker tables every
24 hours. Reports released recently by the Online Poker Traffic Report maintain
that of all online casinos the poker sector has not lost any of its luster. The
report states that the top ten online poker websites have seen at least an
increase of 21 percent in users every 24 hours on each respective website.
One of the more notable online casinos that have had reports of repeat players
is the Gigamedia’s Everest Poker whose 21 percentage rise took them to a very
impressive 2,813 players every 24 hours. Another recognizable name who turned in
figures that also were not too shabby is none other than PartyGaming’s online
casino for poker, PartyPoker. PartyPoker also had a significant increase in
usage, by 15 percent which totals out to be about 4,915 players. The online
casino that came in third place in a contest where everyone was a winner is the
Tokwiro Enterprise website UltimateBet. This online casino grew 10 percent and
had a total tally of 1,312 players.
There were other notable online casinos that turned impressive numbers. Those
casinos include another Tokwiro site Absolute Poker, Doyle Brunson’s DoylesRoom
and Full Tilt Poker. So in conclusion it appears that the online casino industry
is doing really well with increasing numbers in almost every sector, obviously
online poker is a strength at the moment. We will see if the state of the
world’s economy has any long term effects on the online casino industries.
