Playtech Reports a Profitable Third Quarter: 2
Playtech’s success of 2008 is owed mostly to their new licensing agreements.
With their three Italian operator contracts signed in their third quarter of
2008, the future of this company looks nothing but promising. The company has
also expanded the products and games it offers in its online casinos. The online
casino market is really hot in the Asian markets so the launch of the Asian P2P
Games and the licensing agreements that came out of those deals. The offers that
were made during that time were very calculated by the Playtech management team,
as stated by their reports. The tools in which they will be using in the future
will be significantly enhanced from the versions of the past.
Playtech also did something different this year that a lot of online casinos do
to get more of the mainstream players involved in any given website: they added
the widely popular Bingo to their line up. The European online casino market has
seen a slight boom due to the addition of the live Bingo games. The company has
full intention on investing further in to the game of Bingo because they see
endless possibility of revenue that could be made from just that game alone.
They also plan to release a brand new Flash version of their poker games before
the end of the fourth quarter 2008. The revenue is coming in strong from the
European markets but it cannot be denied that the Asian Market is definitely
dominating in total revenue for the 2008 numbers reported thus far.
