Jackpot Mystery: 5
The missing online casino jackpot winnings of Sylvia P from the online casino
Joyland have only lead to more questions regarding how online casinos pay out to
their players. The moment that Sylvia P. won her jackpot she knew that her life
had changed, but little did she know that she would be receiving several emails
and phone calls harassing her to choose how she would like her payment. She
described the way that the online casino handled the matter to several news
sources. She said that: "I was forced to collect what they offered to a total
sum of $2,3 million I was so upset that on our last conversation I requested a
witness and also recorded the whole conversation when all the sums and terms
were discussed with them in order to finanlise the 2,3 mill. I made the VIP
[casino representative] talk and asked him how much was my total winnings how
much I had lost as per their requests and my bonus points? He summarized it and
he stated at the end that he had erased my account balance, after which I tried
to re log in and was unsuccessful. I guess they have blocked my account."
Since then the online casino Joyland has joined the protection of the online
casino industry mega power house, William Hill Online. There is absolutely no
sympathy coming from the end of the notoriously fair online casino giant. They
have stated that since Silvia P. accepted the online casino’s terms and
conditions that she would indeed have to follow those terms. They also said that
it is standard procedure for people who receive such a large payment that they
are often offered less than the full amount up front or they can take the
monthly installment route. William Hill Online’s official stance on this issue
is that she knew exactly what she was signing so she has to accept her actions.
They also pointed out that simply because they bought out the online casino does
not mean that they owe their debts.
When William Hill purchased Joyland they did not buy out the online casino’s
debt. They have not provided Casinomeister with any more information when they
were questioned about the winnings.
