Galewinds Software Trouble: 4
The president of Galewinds has been standing by his company and their decisions
this whole time. Every time that there have been allegations made against them
in regards to the Heroes Casino management disputes they have been open and up
front about all of the details surrounding the case. So far there are no other
online casinos or internet gambling websites that have come forth saying
anything but positive things about Galewinds as a company and about their
products in general. They have been so confident about their product that they
have opened the message boards on their website for people to discuss any and
all problems that they have faced at an online casino while using their games.
Colby, when faced with the Heroes Casino allegations, even offered the online
casino a chance to get the software tested by an independent testing agency so
they could verify if there was indeed a glitch in their system. The offer was
declined by the management of that online casino. Online casino software
specialist, Eliot Jacobson was asked to head the investigation and testing of
the software in question. Online casinos sometimes use these companies to make
sure that their products are working at the highest level and are glitch free.
Jacobson later said, "In the opinion of CFG, Galewind Software offers a fair and
properly functioning product that shows no bias. The RNG is not weak and the
software is not faulty."
The management team at Galewinds is currently considering taking actions against
Heroes but are taking a second look at that after speaking to the owner of
Casinomeister, Bryan Bailey. On April 15th the software license that belonged to
Heroes was revoked and the decision was finalized on April 17th. At the end of
those three days the player was paid in full which ended a long and stressful
period. Colby finished his statement on the website by saying: "In closing, I'd
like to say that all of us at Galewind Software Corp. are very proud of our
product, and we stand behind it 100 percent," wrote Colby. "Our people and our
software enjoy the respect of such industry participants as Michael Shackleford
(the Wizard of Odds), Eliot Jacobson (of Certified Fair Gambling), and Stacy
Friedman (of Olympian Gaming). I hope that our actions regarding this issue will
remove any concerns about our company which this situation may have created."
